Puppys vs cat… the world will never know!
These dogs are definitely not in the running for “Friendliest Dog”.
This is a fun little video I found titled “Worst police dog in the world”. I prefer to think of him as the friendliest police dog. I’m not sure if this really is a police dog at all. No one seems particularly concerned that the “criminal” is getting away. Anyway, it’s a short clip that I think you’ll enjoy.
I’m thinking about buying this book. It’s called Cat Secrets Revealed. I know that I said that I don’t believe in training cats. They seem to get along without it. My girlfriend’s cat is really nice. I don’t think that she needs training, but she does play rough. Whenever I pet her cat, she bites and scratches me. I know that it’s her way of playing but my girlfriend has been trying to get her to stop for years.
This book says that it can correct biting and rough play. The book is only $37.00 which is a pretty inexpensive way to seem like a hero to my girlfriend. I know if I tried to do home repair or bungee jumping or something “heroic”, it would be more painful and cost me lots more money. Do any of you have experience with this book or other cat training programs?
I’m serious about wanting to try to make my own dog treats. My girlfriend loves to cook and she loves dogs. This seems like a fun activity we could do together. I came across the website Gourmet Sleuth. They have an entire section dedicated to dog treats. Their recipes include:
The recipes seem pretty straight forward. If you are comfortable making cookies, you should have no problem with these doggie treats. I’m going to try one of these recipes this weekend and let you know how they turn out. Have you ever tried to make your own dog treats? What are your favorite recipes?
Nothing cheers me up after a long day like funny dogs. I was really impressed with the dog on the skateboard, but I think the first one is a chinchilla. Which one’s your favorite?
My girlfriend loves rats and insists that they make great pets for kids. I’m not sure how anyone can trust them. They always look like their plotting something:
Do any of you have thoughts on rats as pets? Are they scheming animals or is that just slander promoted by the Animaniacs?
This video made my morning:
I hope you like it too.
It’s funny what you come across online. I was just checking up on the news in England when I came across “Feline funny: The cult website dedicated to comedy cats“. The story covers a new website: www.LoLcats.com. It must have been a slow news day!
I have to say this video is too cute:
Also, thank you Wired for finding this great Battlestar Gallactica LOL Cats series from Puntabulous.
I just came across this book for dog treats you can make at home. I’m thinking about getting the book to surprise my girlfriend. She really likes to cook and loves her dogs. This might be the perfect gift for her. What do you think? Do you have any experience with this book or with making your own dog treats? If you do, please send me your favorite recipe or the name of doggy cookbooks you like.
